HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER (Collection and Delivery) / Yard Maintenance Person

We currently have an exciting position as an HGV Class 1 Driver (Collection and Delivery) / Yard Maintenance Person in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks depot in Coventry.
As an HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Maintenance Person, we can offer you:
- Working Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
- An hourly rate of up to £14.60 (depending on your Class 1 driving experience)

The HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Maintenance Person responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- This is a ‘dual role’. Collection / delivery of vehicles from / to customers primarily within Coventry and the surrounding area.
- Road testing.
- General yard maintenance duties as and when required when not driving.
- General ‘caretaker’ duties as required.
Working Monday to Friday: 6am – 2:30pm.
Who are we looking for as our HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Maintenance Person:
- You must hold a valid UK Class 1 licence (ideally clean).
- Be a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
- Any site maintenance / DIY knowledge would be an distinct advantage.
